In a context where message clarity, visual consistency and content accessibility are essential pillars, the INC initiated a strategic repositioning with Takaneo, centred around a 360° approach combining branding, design, digital communication and internal support.
The work began with a logo revamp and the creation of a comprehensive graphic and semantic charter, preserving the institution’s DNA while giving it a new, modern look. The redesign was rolled out across a wide range of media: website, annual report, stationery, social media, promotional items, etc.
A sensitive and responsible approach to imagery
In the visual treatment of content, particular care has been taken in representing cancer patients. Takaneo chose to use sensitive and harmonious illustrations, which subtly coexist with more technical photographs used for predominantly scientific or medical content. This approach helps maintain a human, discreet and respectful dimension, consistent with the INC’s public health mission.

A human-centred and accessible website
The new website institutcancer.lu was designed with a strong focus on user experience, emphasizing intuitive navigation, clear architecture and accessible content. Collaborative workshops were also conducted with the INC teams to facilitate the adoption of new tools and foster a shared vision for the project.
